Our Start Vivekanand Netralayacame into existence on the 6th of June 2004 with the mission of “To Provide comprehensive quality Ophthalmic, Medical Treatment and the latest Health Care Amenities free of cost to as many under privileged people as possible and to train as many doctors as possible for this noble cause”.

Since 2004 we have examined more than 70,000 patients and operated more than 5000 cataract patients with IOL implantations. Our hospital has been recognized as base hospital for National Programme for Control Of Blindness (NPCB) by District Blindness Control Society (BDCS), Lions International, Yeshaswini ISMSICS. Apart form cataract surgical camps our other activates are Diabetic screening camps, School Eye check-ups, Refraction Camps and eye donation awareness programs. We have started all round training for aspiring young Eye Doctors and technicians for the noble cause of eradication of blindness. First batch is out with flying colors. (SICS/Ophthalmic technician training). Our forth coming project is EYE BANK.
